Unwind Haven provides day-trip beach experiences. Because our services are time-bound and involve reserved capacity (transport, catering, guides), we have specific policies for cancellations, refunds, and changes. Please read this policy carefully before booking.

1. General principles

Description:

We aim to be fair and transparent. Refunds and changes depend on how far in advance you notify us and the specific package or supplier terms. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change your booking.

2. Cancellation by you

Description:
  • More than 7 days before the trip: Full refund minus any non-refundable supplier fees (e.g. catering pre-order). We will communicate any deductions before processing.
  • 3–7 days before the trip: 50% refund or reschedule to another date (subject to availability).
  • Less than 3 days before the trip: No refund. Rescheduling may be possible at our discretion and subject to availability.
  • No-show: No refund or reschedule.

3. Cancellation by us

Description:

If we must cancel your trip (e.g. weather, safety, or operational reasons), we will offer a full refund or reschedule to a mutually agreeable date. We are not liable for incidental costs (e.g. accommodation, travel to Lagos) beyond the booking value.

4. How to request a refund

Description:

Contact us via our contact page, email, or phone. Provide your booking reference and reason for the request. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

5. Partial refunds

Description:

If you or your guests cannot participate in part of the trip (e.g. arrive late, leave early), we do not offer partial refunds for unused portions.

6. Disputes

Description:

If you disagree with a refund decision, you may submit a dispute through your dashboard. We will review and respond within 1–2 business days.

7. Changes to this policy

Description:

We may update this Return and Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. For bookings already made, the policy in effect at the time of booking generally applies unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
